EVANS AUTO TRANSPORT CAR
|Unpainted plastic body with heat-stamped lettering. Superstructure is painted, stamped steel with rubber stamped lettering. Load consists of 4 automobiles - considered to be either 1954 Packards or 1956 Fords. The Ford fans insist they are not Packards! Equipped with die-cast bar end trucks with magnetic couplers except late models (1964 - 1966) had AAR trucks and are much harder to find than earlier models. Metal brake wheel. Normally, there is one each of white, yellow, green and red cars. Built 1955-1966. Reproduction cars have been made, some have the word Lionel on the repros, but they are a little shorter.
