SOUTHERN PACIFIC BOXCAR
|Built 1949-52. Brown with white heat-stamped letting. Large circular herald with 1/16" break in outside circle between R and N of SOUTHERN. This version was only available in 1949. In 1950, the same brown with white lettering appeared, this time with a small herald where the break in the circle was fixed. From 1951-52, a reddish brown version appeared, with the same small herald with no break in the outer circle. Either staple or bar end trucks with magnetic couplers.
