6464-650 RIO GRANDE BOX CAR

 

Built from late 1958 until 1959. Typically unpainted yellow type III body with silver painted roof, and lower band with black heat-stamped lettering. Car has bar-end trucks with magnetic couplers. There is a very rare version in which the roof is yellow instead of silver. Sometimes, the black stripe between the yellow and silver sections is missing.
