|Built 1957-60. Red molded frame with car number and LIONEL heat-stamped in white letters on the side. Type 1 car, the original, produced in 1957, has bar-end metal trucks mounted on blued-steel mounting plates and 6800 heat stamped on right1958 model (Type 2) had AAR-type trucks riveted directly to it's body with number remaining on the rightType 3 was produced later in 1958 and the heat stamped number was moved to the left of the word LionelLoad is a yellow and black model of a Beechcraft Bonanza airplane with retractable landing gear and folding wingsThe original planes have identifying markings molded into the underside of the fuselage. MADE IN U.S. OF AMERICAAircraft is unpainted, and assembled in two ways, either black upper surfaces and yellow propeller or yellow upper surfaces with black propeller.
