(Santa Fe) logo left and technical data on right, brake wheel, operating plunger mechanism with rubberized man, staple end trucks with magnetic couplers 1949 production, Brown painted metal doors, frame with metal ladders on 4 corners (part of the frame stamping, not seperately applied) 1950 production, chemically blackened metal doors, with ladders1951, ladders eliminated, blackened metal doors retained1952 black plastic doors, no laddersA Very rare variation exists which is same tan color used for the x3464 NYC - has white heat stamped letters. |
