Lionel t-repro-114

T-REPRODUCTIONS LLC 114 STATION

Thomas Industries produced a few perfectly accurate reproductions of some of the rarest Lionel metal building in the late 1990's, including this 114 station. The reproductions are rare in and of themselves and are identified with a TR embossed into the bottom of the metal base. This one has perfect paint with no marks or scratches and grades Like New (C8) or possibly Mint (C10). The original Lionel Pre-War 114 station was a lengthened version of the 113, and was originally sold between 1931 and 1934. The front and back walls were stretched by an additional panel width on each side. Like the 113, it had light fixtures flanking the front door, and the interior was illuminated. On the roof were two green skylights. This station did not have a train-stop circuit (as did the 116 station). Thomas Reproducions were originally made in the USA. Recent productions made in China retail for $399.
