| The Texas & Pacific found a pair of E units excessive for some of their smaller passenger trains. The road had 4 F7A and 2 F7B units equipped and painted for passenger service. Trains like the Louisiana Eagle often ran with the i nteresting pairing of an E and F unit combination. When not needed in passenger service, both the A and B units seemed to frequently show up on freight duty as well. Secondary trains like these are perfect for modeling. What they lack in fame, they make up for in character!
