One of the most common freight cars on the rails from the 1970s to the modern era, you didn't have to look hard to find one of these Pullman Standard cars on the rails. Owned by railroads, private firms and Pullman's own leasing fleets, these cars ranged from plain gray to bright billboards for their owners/lessors. Over the years, changes in ownership have only made them more interesting.Lionel's cars feature realistic molded in details for added durability and lower costs making it easy to build up your modern freight trains. This run of cars features colorful roadnames from the 1970s but there are dozens of examples of these schemes surviving into the 2000s!
