Questions about Confirmmations, Shipping Time/Cost. Payment Methods. Returns.

 

  • We accept all major credit cards, MASTER CARD, VISA, American Express and Discover. Your payment is through The Train Station and it will show that on your credit card statement.
  • Everything shown on our cart is in stock and ready for immediate delivery.
  • The map shows delivery times for the USA via UPS ground service. Customers in the NY and Philadelphia Metropolitan areas, all of NJ, NY east of Utica, PA east of York, most of Conn, Western Mass and Delaware can expect delivery in 1 day after we ship, using UPS economical ground service
  • Our return policy is as follows:
  • A copy of the invoice must be enclosed. The merchandise must be in the original package in unused condition. Return freight is at the customers expence. (unless an error was made by The Train Station). NO RETURNS AFTER 10 DAYS OF RECEIPT. No returns of books, video tapes, CDs or electrical parts. All warranty returns must be prepaid by the customer.
  • Before completing your order, you can calculate shipping costs. After you add something to your cart, look for the purple line below the list of items in your cart which says 'Please click here to use our UPS Shipping Calculator'
  • Orders received by 10 AM (Mon thru Fri) are usually shipped on the day they are received
  • Your order is acknowledged immediately after submission and you can print a copy of your order for your records
  • In addition, your order will be confirmed by a separate e-mail. This will normally be sent within 5 to 20 minutes after receipt (but sometimes longer when immense volumes of orders pour in). The confirmation will show the UPS delivery charge, items ordered, address, and total amount charged to your credit card, etc. Please check the confirmation and call us immediately if there is an error (973-263-1979).
  • This confirmation also shows your Member (Customer) number - please retain this to make ordering much easier in the future
  • If you don't receive a confirmation in 24 hours, please check your spam blocker and/or call us at 973-263-1979.
  • Another e-mail is sent to you by UPS immediately after pickup showing the tracking number and expected delivery date
  • Please keep in mind that we combine items into one package. The greatly reduces the cost of shipping below the cost shown for just one item...Please note that some large items and all Lionel train sets are rated 'oversize' by UPS. This means they cannot be combined with anything else and must be shipped separately.
