NJ TRANSIT RARITAN YARD BALLAST ORE CAR UNCAT.1998
| by Lionel in 1998, it was only available in the NJT GP-38 Ballast train Set(6-11982). This is one of the toughest ore cars to find, and very hard to find broken up from the set. The set saw a very low production run (regional to NJ), henceforth it's rarity. Set came with five ballast cars to represent the five yards operated by NJT. Each car represented one shade of NJT's color scheme. This ore car was done in black and represented the Raritan yard. Features include die-cast sprung trucks, operating couplers, and removable simulated ballast load. Came unboxed in the set box. Car is numbered #9126. |
