|Built by Lionel in 1999 as part of their continuing "I Love..." states boxcar series. This was the twentieth edition in the series. They would eventually make all fifty states by 2007. Car celebrates the official motto of the state, "Live Free or Die". The phrase came from a written toast by General John Stark, NH's most famous soldier of the Revolutionary war, "Live free or die: Death is not the worst of evils". Features; white body, navy blue roof and ends, red doors, blue lettering, "LIVE FREE OR DIE" to right of doors, die-cast metal sprung trucks with operating couplers, opening doors, numbered #9700, and classic New Hampshire gaphics and red, white, and blue paint scheme.
