|Box car and box, including shipping box, are signed by Lionel's late great Lenny Dean. The Chicagoland Lionel Railroad Club was born out of a meeting in February of 1994 at Chicago's Union Station. Today, with over 1000 members, they currently own and operate two Lionel O-Gauge layouts. One of the ways the CLRC has been able to generate income for the success of the club has been through the development and sale of "club cars" specially designed for the Chicagoland Lionel Railroad Club and produced by Lionel Trains. To date, 15 cars and 1 locomotive have been produced. This being the sixth - produced by Lionel in 1998 (shipped in 1999). Includes - REA/Santa Fe operating box car, operating plunger mechanism with rubberized baggage man and "CLRC" box, plastic molded 6464 molded body, metal diecast sprung trucks, and classic authentic REA and SF war bonnet paint scheme and logos.
