| The sets listed below have the magical Lionel Remote Control System invented in the early 1930'sThe direction of the train, whistle and accessories is remotely controlled using buttons on the transformerThese sets also have a 40 inch by 60 inch oval of the new Lionel Fastrack - the first good improvement in track in 75 yearsAll Lionel cars (including those in these sets) have operating couplers, but the special uncoupling track needed is not includedWe highly recommend purchase of our exclusive TS-50 uncoupler and expansion kit to go with these sets. The kit not only will increase the fun by allowing coupling and uncoupling the trains , but will expand the oval to 40 x 80 or 50 x 70 inches. This is better for most size holiday trees. The kit will also operate unloading cars (log cars, milk cars etc) when you are ready for expansionThese trains can also be operated with the Lionel Handheld System (TMCC) with installation of a powermaster between transformer and track. Purchase of a 6-12867 Powermaster and a 6-12868 Cab 1 walk-around wireless remote controller is required.
