"OO" gauge models are built to a scale of 5/32-inch to the foot. This means they are about one-seventy-sixth as large as the real train. Track measures 3/4 inch between running rails. "OO" gauge is only slightly more than half as large as "O" gauge.
Any transformer can be used to operate "OO" gauge trains.
