Inspired by products from 1955 and earlier catalogs, this great Post-War revival includes the 2321 Lackawanna TrainMaster, Rutland box car, New York Central gondola, Lionel Lines "Hotbox" milk car, and bay window caboose. The set combines this classic decoration with the latest in Lionel tooling and features. The 2321 TrainMaster features the latest in "LEGACY" and Bluetooth control with sound, smoke, and lighting features you could have only dreamed of in 1954. The Rutland 6464 box car remains one of the most popular cars for collectors, especially in the rare green herald version as Lionel'll produce it. This version will be on the PS-1 box car, complete with FreightSounds for even more play value. The 6462 gondola was a staple in the Lionel catalog starting in 1949. The scale PS-5 version will also include six wood barrels like the originals. Lionel's 3662 milk car remains one of the most popular operating cars of all time. And while there isn't a scale version with animation, the Hotbox reefer gives you loading and unloading scenarios as well as light and smoke action - all with Legacy control. Last but not least, the TrainMaster never looked better than when paired with the bay window caboose with its Erie-inspired deco.
