| Annual consumer catalog from 1976 featured Lionel spokesman Johnny Cash. Lionel was way ahead of the times in choosing "The Man In Black". Hence this is the hardest modern era catalog to find(and since his death in high demand). But overall this was a great catalog that featured some of Lionels best MPC era trains. Featured items included; Amtrak Lake Shore Limited passenger set, NYC Empire State Express Hudson Frt. set, Lionel's 75th Anniversary Special set, Amtrak F-3, Southern F-3, S.F. F-3, PRR EP-5, Virginan Rectifier, B&M GP-9, Southern Pacific Alco ABA, Chrome tankcars, 20 Billboard Reefers(tobacco, beer, food, candy), the complete Spirit Of 76 set(engine and cars), and lots more. The rare Lionel Johnny Cash uncataloged boxcar used the back cover graphics(6-9780). Tough catalog well worth picking up for the train or country music lover. |
