The Steel Hauler and Cargo King sets came numerous extra cargo loads. New items included Rocky MT. Special GN U36B set, GM&O Heartland Express GP-20 set, B&M GP-9, Rock GP-7, Erie Lackawanna GP-9, Conrail GP-9, Santa Fe U36B(extremely popular), Penn Central GP-7, C&O Hudson, WARR General(MPC's first general), Southern Crescent 4-6-4 and cars, all new Standard O and Billboard reefers, numerous new boxcars(including Soda Pop Road series, many new accessories(operating drawbridge, extension bridge, numerous new building kits), and more. A great catalog for the operator, with layout designs and building tips. Lionel was finally addressing the operator(new Track Layout Book and Train and Accessory Manual).
