2003 LIONEL CLASSIC TRAINS CATALOG VOLUME 2
| The cover for the 2003 Lionel consumer catalog Volume 2 has Santa kneeling next to a Christmas Tree playing with a train. This 152 paged catalog features two highly collectible train sets remakes from the 50's and 60's. The first is the 1563W Wabash Freight Set (original from 1956) which has the Wabash F3 AB. The second is the US 1805 Land-Sea-Air Marines Missile Launch Set (originally from 1960). Both these sets are TMCC equipped but can run in conventional transformer mode. Lionel also introduced three new F3 AA engines with new paint schemes - the Alaska, the Western Pacific and the Baltimore & Ohio. All are TMCC equipped and can run in conventional mode. Some new accessories are featured: two railroad tugboats - the Santa Fe and the Pennsylvania. One more notable piece is the reissue of the 1931 Pre-War #128 Illuminated Station and Terrace - remade in the original early colors. |
