2008 LIONEL CLASSIC TRAINS CATALOG VOLUME 1
| This 200 page catalog is loaded with premium trains. We will start with the John Bull passenger set. This is a very old style steam engine - not in the traditional design we are accustomed to. The John Bull was original put into service in the early 1930's. It ran for almost 35 years and was used heavily during the Civil War. It was retired in 1866. This set came with two passenger coaches, plus there was a third available. Another neat set Lionel introduced this year was the Shakespeare Express.
