SANDY ANDY AUTOMATIC GRAVEL LOADER (1976-79)
| Produced from 1976 until 1979. Light brown plastic structure. Difficult to find in intact, working condition (lots of pieces) - even harder to find as an unassembled kit in the box. This building kit was not only a spectacular sight when it was assembled, it also operated quite convincingly, but could be temperamental. The top of the silo is loaded with coal. The little cart is attached to a string with a weight. When a lever holding the weight is released, the weight brings the cart to the top for coal, and the weighted cart rolls down and dumps into a coal hopper.
