Just a boxed American/Lionel flag set. It's amazing this item hasn't remained in the Lionel line continuously. Maybe the U.S.Flag set should be substituted for the grade xing or truck in the strater sets? Made by Lionel from 1983-87. A remake of the classic postwar #89 from 1956-58. Features fabric American flag, blue Lionel pennant with white lettering, plastic base and pole. The MPC version has one obvious difference then the postwar version, 50 stars instead of 48(Alaska and Hawaii did not become states until 1959).
