6-25005 NEIL YOUNG GREENDALE POWERCO BOXCAR - UNCATALOGED 2004
|Uncataloged and produced by Lionel in 2004. Only available in the limited edition Greendale set, with a production run of only 500 (6-30002). The set was based on the "musical novel" by renowed recording artist Neil Young. Greendale combines numerous themes on corruption, environmentalism, and mass media consolidation. The "POWERCO" 6464 style box car was the most desirable piece from the set. Powerco was the anti-establishment corporation being fought in the movie. Car has an interesting patriotic flag paint scheme. Features plastic molded 6464 style body, diecast metal sprung trucks with operating couplers, opening doors, and authenic Neil Young Greendale paint scheme and graphics. Extremely tough car to find broken up from the set. Came unboxed in the set.
