NEW YORK CENTRAL PACEMAKER BOXCAR (1975)
|Built by Lionel in 1975-77. Features the classic Pacemaker paint scheme that Lionel also used on their 1954 6464-125. New York Central Pacemaker - These colors were adapted by NYC for their high speed overnight freight trains between New York City and Chicago. You should have seen Hudsons pulling 75 of these cars or the pacemaker red and grey piggybacks at 75 miles per hour. Features; painted plastic body, plastic trucks with operating couplers, and authentic NYC paint scheme. One of the tougher MPC cars to find. Was available for seperate sale and came in the Milwaukee Road Service Station Set(6-1579).
