        | The 303 Reading Atlantic was successor to the 302 Atlantic and was produced from 1954 until 1957. It featured smoke, choo-choo, headlight, Pullmor motor, red glow and a four position reverse unit located in a new plastic tender shell. The tender came equipped with the new sintered metal trucks with knuckle couplers. All lettering and engine numbers were applied using white paint. Under the cab of the loco on both sides was the numbers 303. The tender was marked "AMERICAN FLYER LINES", and above and to the front on each side was the Reading diamond. The loco was painted black over black plastic. All Atlantic type locos were generally excellent runners.   | |Serial_List| 18717 AMERICAN FLYER READING 4-4-2 ATLANTIC LOCO & TENDER
