| The 568 billboard was the successor to the 561 and 566 billboards manufactured from 1951 until 1955. The 568 differed from its predecessors in two ways - it was a steam whistle billboard, and it had a new scene depicting a 336 UP Challenger pulling a freight train. The sign was printed on cardboard and was held in place by a plastic surround. It was not lighted. |
