| The 734 operating box car was manufactured from 1950 until 1954. It had one door on one side and two operating doors on the other side. Rollers were located inside the car, enabling packages to roll to the next door for ejection. It was designed to be used in conjunction with the 770 loading platform. The car came in a red/brown color and had a sheet metal base and link couplers. There were two versions - unpainted plastic bodies, and the rarer painted bodies. |
