SAKAI HO LOT OF FREIGHT CARS AND SWITCHES
| The Sakai company of Tokyo, Japan began just after WW2 and ceased production in the 1970's. This lot of HO items date from the mid 1960's and comprise of one F5 Pacific Fruit Express metal box car, one F2 B&O metal box car, one F10 Wabash plastic hopper with coal load, and one F11 N&W plastic hopper with coal load. All freight cars are in Like New (C8) condition or better - with at least two appearing Mint (C10). All original boxes are in great shape, have all flaps, and insert pieces intact. Both 0578/076 switches appear to have never been out of their boxes and have instruction sheets and box liner inside, too. Both 0578/086 signals are complete with box liners and instruction sheets - one has been removed from the box at some point but is still Like New and complete, and the other appears not to have been removed. A great set for the "Japanese Marx" collector! |
