PAIR OF ELASTOLIN COMPOSITION COWBOY FIGURES - GERMAN MADE - 1930'S
Pair of Elastolin figures. Made in Germany in the 1930's, these composition figures are of two cowboys, one with dualling pistols at the ready and the other with his lassoo on horseback. Three inches and four inches high respectivly. These cowboy figures were sometimes known as "trapper" figures in Germany. Elastolin made figures from composite materials, mainly made of sawdust early on, then of hard plastic after WWII. Elastolin was the trademark used by the O&M Hausser Company. Great condition on these all original, 95 year old figures. The mounted cowboy has the front piece of his hat missing but otherwise appears complete. Detailed figures. Would look great on |
