MARX TALES OF WELLS SET WITH WILLIAM CROOKS #1 4-4-0 STEAMER (1959)
| Complete rare original 1959 set with William Crooks #1 4-4-0 steam engine and correct passenger cars. Has needs, but a lot of potential for the Marx lover. Engine is early 1959 version with smoke. Body is complete with unbroken detail. But engine and wheel alignment has moisture damage with frozen wheels. Tender has faded lettering. Two passenger are square with some moisture spots, mostly on the roofs. Both are missing stacks. Still a great set for the Marx repairman (also for original parts) and/or operator. Also includes two partial Marx Frontier set Seventh Cavalry tin litho buildings. One is complete with no plastic detail. The other is just the three sides of the building (no roof or base). Great for the Marx collector, and/or creative layout builder! |
