PLASTICVILLE 1776 INDEPENDENCE HALL KIT (RARE)

One of the most impressive pieces ever produced by Plasticville. The historic replica of Independence Hall in Philadelphia, PA. It was here on July 4, 1776, that the Declaration Of Independence was adopted and publicly proclaimed. Plasticville did not have to go very far to find the perfect model, since they were also based in Philadelphia! This kit was first released in 1955 with tan sides and a red roof. In 1956 they changed it to red sides and white roof, in a one piece display box. Tough to find complete with doors, windows, and weather vane (almost always missing or broken). In mint condition with the box, these are listed in the reference books for $125. This is one of the Plasticville pieces that looks great on any layout!
