| Sheet metal construction on this manual water tower. 8 inches high. Early version from 1931 to 1934 was painted with a maroon base, burnt orange tower, pea green tank and pipe, brass sprout, and no decal. The 1935 to 1941 version had a vermillon base, aluminum painted tower, tank and pipe, black spout, and silver decal outlined in black with red "LIONEL TRAINS". In 1942 the aluminum was substituted with gray paint. |
