The 2046, 681, and 736 steamers were back while new issues included 2037, 2055, and 685. 1953 also saw the release of less detailed new F-3 AA unit's 2353(S.F.), 2354(NYC), and 2355(WP). New rolling stock included 6417 N5C caboose, 6511 pipe car, 6415 3-dome tankcar, 6468 DD boxcar, and 3484 operating PRR boxcar. Lastly this was the first year for the new 6464 boxcar series; -1 Western Pacific, -25 Great Northern, -50 MST.L, and -75 Rock Island.
