| This was the least expensive and most common O gauge set with smoke that Lionel offered in 1946. The 671 turbine (without E-unit slot) was essentially the same as the 2020 except for the three-digit (O gauge) number. The tender and Baby Ruth box car were the same as those included in O27 outfits. Contents: 671 steam turbine locomotive with headlight and smoke, 2466W early coal whistle tender, 2555 Sunoco single dome tank car, 2454 Baby Ruth box car, 2457 illuminated Pennsylvania N5 caboose, eight curved and three straight track sections, R.C.S. uncoupling/operating section, and a 167 whistle controller. |
