| 671 6-8-6 steam turbine locomotive with operating headlight and smoke, 2674W streamlined whistle tender, 2400 Maplewood Pullman, 2401 Hillside observation and 2402 Chatham Pullman in the new streamlined series with a green and gray paint scheme. The locomotive itself had thin black rims on the first and last drive wheels. The consist was an all-new design of passenger car - all with molded plastic bodies and roofs mounted on a sheet metal floor/frame combination and riding on diecast trucks with coil couplers. The bodies of the cars were painted green with yellow lettering and striping applied. The floor was dark gray and retained by a pair of thumbscrews - the heads of which were knurled to resemble ventilator housings. |
