| Built from 1953 until 1955. This was the third set of F3's produced by Lionel. Came in the same Santa Fe Warbonnet passenger paint scheme as the previous two offerings - the 2333 and 2343. The GM logo was heat-stamped instead of being a decal like on the previous engines. The body is silver with red cab and nose with yellow and black trim. The trucks and frame are painted silver. Roof vents are louvered instead of being covered with wire screens. The front handrails were left off. Has portholes as well as ladders on the cab doors. Featured Magnetraction and twin horizontally mounted Pullmor motors. |
