| This is the original, indestructible, all metal Lionel operating lumber car! These cars were produced from 1949 to 1955 and were built to last forever. They have been fully checked out by our service department to ensure years of fun for you and your family. A great hit with kids, park this car on a siding, uncouple it from the train with the push of a button, unload the logs with the push of another button, then reload! Or how about just stopping the train on the main line and unloading the car! For even more fun, use it with the log loading accessory 364. When you get good, see if you can accurately unload the logs into the unloading bin while the train is moving (your children will learn to do this very quickly!). Car has a diecast metal body and an attractive enamel finish with heat-stamped lettering, diecast metal frame and steel tilt bed, brake wheel, and operating couplers. A remote control track section with five rails and magnet is required to operate the car - purchase our item number TS-50 for Fastrack layouts, item number 6-65530 for "O" gauge, or item number 6- 12746 for "027" layouts. All three are listed under track and transformers on our website. |
