| This car was designed to use sponge donuts that spin (driven by an internal motor) as this car is pulled behind a locomotive (it is not self-powered). Saves time and effort when your track needs cleaning. Built from 1956 until 1960. Book states printing on bottles "LIONEL TRACK CLEANER". Not true - original bottles say "LIONEL TRACK CLEAN". Original bottles are soft and were squeezeable - reproductions are solid and top is not removable. Instruction sheet 3927-44 dates these as 8-56. The typical inspection slip was 511, inspected by 5615MC. Use Life-Like track cleaning fluid part LL-1415. |
