EMD NW2 switcher made from 1952 thru 1954
  • This loco and the 622 Santa Fe were the first locos with the new vertical pullmore motor; combined with the die cast base they are considered by many to be one of the smoothest and best running lionel locomotives
  • Blue painted body with unpainted yellow smokestacks and yellow heat-stamped cab number. "CHESAPEAKE & OHIO" and C&O medallion decals
  • Black ornamental bell and silver ornamental horn. Radio wheel and marker lens
  • Wire handrail along hood and blue painted diecast frame with yellow painted stripe and wire hand rail detail
  • Lighted with headlight lens front and rear. Coil couplers and two axle Magnetraction. Three position E-unit
  • The large C&O decal is prone to flaking so Like New (C8) examples must have their decals intact
  • There are two variations - one with three stanchions holding the handrails - the other with ten stanchions.
