| Sixteen wheel depressed flat car with girders. Painted diecast body with two metal brake wheels. Diecast bar-end trucks with magnetic couplers. Came in many varations with different colored girders (black/orange/pinkish red orange). Built from 1955 until 1957. Stamped "U.S.S. Steel" or "Lionel" on the girders, but correct girders have a unique "USS" inside a molded circle. Came in high-end sets as well as available for separate sale. |
