        | The PRR would introduce their classic large wall  artwork calendars in 1916. Griff Teller would  paint his first in 1929, and continue until 1958  when PRR replaced them with a small, non-artwork  version (by 1958 PRR was already in merger  discussions with the NYC). This 1940 version  showcases the 1929 painting "Serving the  Nation/PRR" print on the top, and 13 pages  representing thirteen months from December 1939  to  December 1940 inclusive. Each page is a three  month - previous, current, and future month to  view. Measures approx. 28 inches square with  metal  headers on the top and bottom. Full  calendar pad started with December 1939. Classic  piece of  past railroad history for the train room (great  when framed!).This example has no calendar.  There is a two and a half inch tear on the center  of the left side. This can be minimised by |
