The PRR would introduce their classic large wall artwork calendar's in 1916. Griff Teller would paint his first in 1929, and continue until 1958 when PRR replaced them with an small non-artwork version (by 1958 PRR was already in merger discussions with the NYC). "Dynamic Progress", Griff's 1955 painting, showcases the classic new PRR Aerotrain with two freight trains running northwest of Harrisburg - along the Susquehanna River. As of 1957, PRR would end service on this short-lived train. A beautiful colorful view of this expansive river vista. Measures approx. 28 ches square with metal headers on the top and bottom. Full calander pad started with December 1955. Classic piece of past railroad history for the trainroom (great when framed).
  • This example h as all calendar pages intact (NOS). There si a two inch hole in the top left of the piece, and tear/tape marks on the right by the header. These could all be minimised with correct framing. Wonderful collectible!
