PENNSYLVANIA DOUBLE DOOR BOXCAR (ALL METAL)

Current Price is shown with each item, Scroll down for List
This PRR double door boxcar was built from 1946 to 1948. The body was a carry-over from before World War II. The built date on the side of the car is "3-41". However, it was adapted to Post-War production and given diecast, staple end trucks with coil couplers on both ends. The body and doors are all metal, and there is a separately applied "air brake system" attached to the bottom of the frame. It also has a metal brake wheel. Two of the ladders to the roof are separately applied, while two are part of the body mold.
