| The Diesel Years has a real 1970-80's vibe in B&W. Covering diesel motive locomotive types: Alco's, Baldwin, La Grange, FM, and GE. Interesting read for the train enthusiast. 1980 (fourth printing by Golden West Books, CA). Black and white photographs throughout. Details the history of diesel locomotives from the end of WW1 to the 1970's. No writing or pen/pencil marks in it as far as we can see. The paper is in excellent condition. Dust jacket has shelf wear and is a little discolored with a small tear on top of the spine but book appears to be unread. Measures approx. 9 inches x 11 inches x 1 inch. 160 pages. Ideal for the railroadiana fan. |
