  • 'The Finest Model Diesel In The World' was the headline in the 1948 Lionel Catalog when F3's were first introduced, and we think this applies today as well
  • Full scale, the ABA is 39 inches long, has dual motors with flywheel in the powered A unit, and will operate on any 31 inch or larger diameter track
  • Has full TMCC for operation with the Lionel Handheld, along with Odyssey for perfect speed control, and will operate with conventional transformer control as well
  • ElectroCouplers on front of each A unit allows you to uncouple from the train anywhere on the layout without uncoupling tracks
  • Die cast metal trucks, pilots, fuel tanks and metal bases
  • Fantastic seperately applied detailing
  • Pulsating Mars headlight, plus a regular headlight, lighted number boards, back-up lights, and illuminated cabs
  • Fan driven smoke units in both powered and non-powered A units
  • Pivoting diaphragms between units, and opening doors
  • Lead A unit is # 19L, trailing A unit is # 19C, and B unit is 19A
  • A Powered B unit is also available for seperate sale, and is numbered 19B. Add this to the ABA for a beautiful ABBA
