LOONEY TUNES MARVIN THE MARTIAN & DAFFY DUCK BOXCAR RARE

| Produced by Lionel in 1997. This was part of a short lived Warner Bothers Looney Tunes series Lionel introduced in 97. All these special cars and accessories came in a classic 1940-50's style Looney Tunes cartoon box with the Bugs Bunny logo. One of the few times Lionel deviated from there classic orange and blue box printing in the LTI/LLC era. Car has classic 1950's Warner Brothers cartoon characters, Daffy Duck and his nemesis Marvin the Martian on this Lionel boxcar. This car is adorned with completely different graphics on each side of the car. One has Daffy Duck as Duck Dodgers! The other side hass Marvin the Martian. Like all the Warner Brothers cars, this has become impossible to find, and regularly sells in the $60 range in mint condition(by 1998 Lionel would let the license expire, ending the series). Features; Plastic molded 6464 body, multi-colored paint scheme, metal die-cast sprung trucks, and offical licensed Warner Brothers graphics. The boxes for the Warner Brothers items are as tough as the cars, very cool. |
