Produced by Lionel in 2000. Scale version of the the New York Central L-3A Mohawk. This was the first scale locomotive design with elephant ears by Lionel. Retailed for $1395. Features; scale die-cast loco and tender body, die-cast tender trucks, highly detailed metal detail(railings, grab irons, bell, etc.), Rail-sounds, Pullmor motor, TMCC Command control, Magne-traction, Crew talk and tower com, wireless tether, operating smoke, directional lighting on engine and tender, electro-automatic knuckle coupler on the tender, operates on O-42 radius and larger, measures 28 1/4", and classic NYC paint scheme and graphics.
