| Camelbacks were widely used by many railroads until outlawed by the Government, they stayed in service for quite a few years after that. The engineer was in the middle of the loco, but could not talk to the fireman, who shoveled the coal at the rear, or sat in his own cab on the left. We believe this one made an all time speed record. A really cute and perky looking Lionel locomotive. |
