ILL CENTRAL PULLMAN-STANDARD 60' BOXCAR JULY
|
The Pullman Standard 60-foot boxcar was originally designed in the 1960's to standardize automakers' options for shipping auto parts loads across the country. In addition to a new boxcar design, their interiors were stripped clean of racks, bins, and other fixtures, and containerized loads were fork-lifted into the boxcar. Lionel offers the newly-tooled Pullman-Standard 60' Boxcar in four road names for 2008. These scale-sized Standard O cars are available in single-door and twin-door versions and include a wide variety of accurate, separately applied details. Each car also features customized details to match the actual cars, including distinct ladder types, roof equipment, and brake gear. FEATURES: All-new tooling Die-cast metal sprung trucks and operating couplers Hidden uncoupling tabs Rotating bearing caps Separately applied metal underframe and body details Opening doors Single and twin door versions available Gauge: Standard O 10.08.01.171 |
