| Built by Lionel in 1999. An all new die-cast 4-6-2 Pacific Locomotive with die cast tender in Lionel Blue, Orange and White. Command version with electrocoupler on tender that operates anywhere on the layout, plus smoke, whistle, motor with flywheel, traction tires and eveything else. Probably will be an unusual and sought after collectable if history repeats as it did with their other older orange/blue/white diesels. (This is the 1st orange, blue and white steam loco). Many train guys don't buy colored locos until they go way up in value and then they have to catch up in the collector class at collector prices. Catalog price in '99 was $499.95. |
