SANTA FE SUPER FREIGHT SET W/RAILSOUNDS

 

  • Compared to the lower cost sets, this set features a new, much larger and more powerful heavy duty 2-8-4 'Berkshire' locomotive, similar in quality to locomotives from the postwar era, AND a heavy duty die cast all metal tender
  • This year's newly designed 2-8-4 Berkshire steam locomotive was one of the more powerful Santa Fe Steamers running through Tehachapi and Cajon Pass
  • The die cast metal locomotive has puffing smoke; a powerful maintenance free motor; whistle; forward, neutral and reverse remote control system; and the added realism of the Railsounds highly accurate digital sound system
  • Set includes 2-8-4 Berkshire locomotive with die-cast metal tender, boxcar, single dome tankcar and flatcar with trailer
  • The caboose is illuminated, and each car has all metal die-cast sprung trucks, handrails, stamped metal frame and metal brakewheels
  • Set also includes an 80 watt extra powerful transformer, 3 straight, 1 (straight) terminal section, and 8 curved fastrack sections
  • Purchase of our TS-50 uncoupling kit is recommended in order to operate the remote controlled uncoupler included on each car and tender. This kit provides the track reqauired to operate the couplers - just plug in the track, no other modification is required to add hours of fun using the uncoupling feature
